Our strawberries have natural and real flavour
Thanks to the unique growing technology, diligent and meticulous care, natural materials, the strawberries grown at our farms contain more fibre, are bigger and juicier than other similar products in the market.
Strawberries are a natural source of vitamin C. Strawberries are also rich in other valuable elements such as folic acid, ellagic acid, and flavonoids: anthocyanin, catechin, quercetin, and kaempferol. These phenol compounds reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases and prevent the build-up of bad cholesterol. They also reduce the tension in blood vessels and improve blood circulation.
To preserve all of the valuable properties of our berries, we offer freeze-dried (lyophilized) strawberries. Our top-of-the-line freeze-drying facilities allow preserving up to 100% of vitamins, as well as the flavour, fragrance, and nutritional value of the products. As little as 20 grams of freeze-dried strawberries contain the entire recommended daily ration of vitamin C.
The freeze-drying process
Freeze-drying is also known as lyophilisation. This is a low temperature dehydration process which involves freezing the product to almost – 40°C, lowering pressure and then removing the ice by sublimation. This is in contrast to standard dehydration methods that evaporate water using heat.
Freeze-dried strawberries make a perfect healthy snack, a treat for the kids, a condiment for the morning cereal, or a pastry decoration.
